Back from DFW Writer's Workshop's Conference. (Will have to add links later. Tooooo sleeeeepy.) I'm beat. It was a really nice conference, the workshop's first, and I really hope it continues and grows. The volunteers who worked on it were awesome, and kudos to our president Steve Manning for working tirelessly to spearhead this.

I'm beat, though I managed to stay up through the Oscars. Did it seem to anyone else like it just ZIPPED along this year? No big drama, not really any big upsets. I wasn't really rooting for anything or anyone, because I have seen NONE of this year's big nominees. The only one I really want to see is "Juno," actually. The rest look too depressing and intense. I have to watch depressing and intense movies in the comfort of my own home.

Lizzie is glad I'm home. She's gloamed on to my lap, which makes typing a little difficult. We're both going to fall over and Zzzzzzz....
